artho_daleStacia Cudd, of the National Association of Farm Broadcasting spoke with USGC Past Chairman Dale Artho about the global impact of the Council's efforts in building markets overseas. Artho illustrates the outcome of the Council's work in Morocco; "Morocco has now become a protein producing platform for export into the European Union." Artho also highlights the results of the annual performance review conducted by Informa Economics, "For every dollar Council members put in...the Council adds over $32 in return." The overall impact of the Council's market development efforts on the U.S. feed grains industry is worth $659 million to U.S. farmers, an increase from $592 million in 2007.  Listen to the interview.

The U.S. Grains Council is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to building export markets for barley, corn, sorghum and their products. The Council is headquartered in Washington, D.C., and has 10 international offices and active market development programs in more than 50 countries.
