Gina Tumbarello
Gina Tumbarello is Manager of International Operations for the U.S. Grains Council, a non-profit organization that promotes the use of U.S. barley, corn and sorghum and related products worldwide. In this capacity, Tumbarello will assist in directing programs in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America, including strategic analysis, program planning and development, implementation and evaluation, membership servicing, and recruiting consultants.
She earned a master’s degree in international policy studies from Monterey Institute of International Studies and a bachelor’s degree in diplomacy & foreign affairs and German from Miami University, Ohio. Over the past year, Tumbarello was a manager of government contracts administration for a transportation logistics and freight forwarding company. Prior to this, she worked as a project manager at J.E. Austin Associates, Inc., an international economic development consulting company, managing competitiveness and economic growth programs in Egypt, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka and Bosnia.
