Who We Are
Carley Esser serves as the global strategies coordinator for the U.S. Grains Council, a non-profit organization that promotes the global use of U.S. barley, corn, sorghum and related products including ethanol and distiller’s dried grains with solubles (DDGS). In this capacity, Esser supports the global strategies and trade policy/biotechnology teams, organizing staff and member arrangements, facilitating program planning, correspondence, reports, information management and contracting.
Prior to the Council, Esser worked for Missouri Farmers Care (MFC) as an outreach coordinator. In this capacity, she promoted MFC programs and agriculture across the state. Esser also served as an intern for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) where she provided support for the legislative and public affairs bureau.
Esser holds a bachelor’s of science in agricultural education and leadership from the University of Missouri.
With full-time presence in 13 key markets and representatives in an additional 15 locations, the Council operates programs in more than 50 countries and the European Union.
