Intern Joins Council’s Latin America Team In Panama

The U.S. Grains Council (USGC) would like to welcome Adam Lipovsky as an intern in the organization’s Latin America regional office in Panama City, Panama. Lipovsky’s internship position is sponsored by the Nebraska Corn Board and the Nebraska Corn Growers Association, which together organize internships annually to help students gain professional experience in the agricultural sector.

In this role, Lipovsky will gain firsthand insight into how the Council works with international partners to develop and maintain markets.

“The Council is excited to have Adam join the team in Latin America,” said Cary Sifferath, USGC senior director of global programs. “With his educational background and experience in agriculture, Adam will be a great addition to the region. We hope the opportunities he experiences in the role will help him in his future endeavors.”

Lipovsky is currently pursuing a degree in international business with a minor in modern languages from Nebraska Wesleyan University.

“I am looking forward to the opportunity to learn more about the export side of the agriculture industry and to be able to use Spanish daily in a business setting,” Lipovsky said. ”
