What We Do
The ultimate goal of the U.S. Grains Council is to build global demand for U.S. corn, sorghum, barley, distiller’s dried grains with solubles (DDGS), ethanol and related products.
For decades, the Council’s members and global staff have done this through identifying and systematically addressing constraints in any market with potential to import U.S. grain products in the short-term or to have significant demand for U.S. grain products in the future given proper development.
Each market in which the Council works is unique, and the Council tailors programs each year to the markets, cultures and needs of our buyers.
The Council also closely monitors critical factors in grain demand including population, local production, local consumption of products requiring U.S. grains and market access.
