The Council keeps a watchful eye for tariffs and other trade barriers that have the potential to limit or block U.S. feed grains in international markets.

An important function of the Council’s overseas staff members is to be in touch with local members of the trade and government officials to find out about the issues and quickly deploy solutions. This often means working with U.S. officials locally, leadership at the Council’s headquarters in Washington and members to create and execute an action plan.
